MBDA Stand Digital
A tracked-controller application that digitizes a real MBDA missile mockup, overlaying real-time 3D to explain the LCM cruise missile's mechanisms in place.
Built for an MBDA trade-show stand, this application digitizes a real, physical missile-system mockup and extends it virtually. The handheld controller visitors hold is really a tracked camera: the app knows exactly where it is in real time and maps that position into the 3D scene, so the physical elements on the stand line up with what's rendered — visitors are effectively filming the real mockup while seeing a live 3D overlay of it.
That overlay is used to describe how the LCM (Land Cruise Missile) and its components actually work in an operational theatre — layers of the system that are normally hidden inside the real hardware.
