Terumo
An interactive product catalogue for Terumo — v1 paired a networked tablet with a hidden NFC reader detecting real products, v2 controls DMX LED lighting live from the app.
Terumo needed an engaging way to present their product catalogue on trade-show stands. Version 1 combined a tablet controller — networked to a large display — with an NFC reader hidden inside a piece of furniture: placing a real product on it was detected automatically and the corresponding item appeared full-screen for visitors.
Version 2 evolved the concept further, with the application directly driving DMX-controlled LED strips to sync lighting with what's being shown on screen.
First shown live at ECIO 2023, the app has since been deployed across several trade shows through 2025; the DMX-driven v2 rolled out in 2026, with dedicated demo footage of that lighting sync still to come.
